Recently, according to the Notice of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Publishing the List of National and Provincial Top Undergraduate Specialty Construction Sites in 2021 (JGTH [2022] No. 14), the financial engineering specialty applied by the School of Finance of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics was approved as a national top undergraduate specialty construction site. Up to now, there are three majors of finance, insurance and financial engineering selected as national first-class undergraduate major construction sites.

The School of Finance of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics was established in 2003. It has the only authorization point for the doctor's degree in finance in Jiangxi Province, the authorization point for the master's degree in finance, the authorization point for the master's degree in finance, and the authorization point for the master's degree in insurance. It has opened four undergraduate majors in finance, insurance, financial engineering, and financial technology, as well as the characteristic direction of finance (FRM).

The Double 10000 Plan for the construction of first-class undergraduate majors is an important measure for the country to comprehensively revitalize undergraduate education, improve the talent training ability of colleges and universities, and realize the connotative development of higher education. The School of Finance of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics will continue to strengthen the construction of professional connotation, give full play to the demonstration and radiation role of first-class professional construction points in the college's talent training, comprehensively improve the quality of talent training, and strive to build a financial talent training base that is first-class in China and has a certain impact internationally.
