On October 12, a delegation of 8 people led by Yang Jun, Deputy General Manager of Financial Technology Department of Jiangxi Branch of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, was invited to our university to carry out the propaganda and work guidance activities of the 2022 ICBC Cup Undergraduate Financial Technology Innovation Competition. Hu Shaoyong, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Zhong Xiaolin, Deputy Dean of the School of Finance participated in the whole process of the activity.

The publicity of the competition is conducted online and offline synchronously. In addition to more than 80 students from our school, more than 140 students from Nanchang University, Jiangxi Normal University, Jinggangshan University, East China Jiaotong University, Jiangxi Agricultural University, Nanchang Aviation University and other colleges and universities in Jiangxi Province attended the conference through Tencent. In the speech, ICBC comrades reviewed the previous competitions, explained the purpose, rules, work direction, award setting and other contents of this year's competition in detail, and introduced the new card face design feature activities this year.

After the publicity, ICBC comrades, together with Hu Shaoyong and Zhong Xiaolin, held a discussion and exchange on the contest activities and the topic selection of works, and divided them into two guiding groups to give targeted guidance to the works of nearly 20 teams in our school. The atmosphere of the activity was warm, and the contestants actively demonstrated. The comrades of ICBC asked the contestants questions from time to time and gave them targeted suggestions. During the question and answer, the contestants found the breakthrough and key points of their works.

It is reported that in the 2021 ICBC Cup, two works of our school of finance won the first and second place in the national finals and won two first prizes in the competition. After winning the first prize in 2018, 2019 and 2020, they won the highest prize in the competition for four consecutive years. This activity makes the contestants closer to ICBC, which is conducive to polishing more competitive works. We look forward to our students making another success in this year's competition!
