On the morning of September 19, the 89th academic lecture of the Jiao Hu Financial Forum series was successfully held in the conference room on the east side of the second floor of the School of Finance. Professor Li Jianping, Executive Vice Dean and Doctoral Supervisor of the School of Economics and Management at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, was invited to attend and deliver an academic lecture themed Governance Framework for Data Circulation Risks: Risk Identification, Quantitative Measurement and Mitigation Strategies. The lecture was hosted by Vice Dean Du Jiangze of the School of Finance, with the participation of some teachers and postgraduates from the school.
As a recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund and a Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program under the Ministry of Education, Professor Li Jianping pointed out that with the expansion of the scale of cross-border data flow, security risks have shown a trend of systematization and complication. He noted in the report that the traditional single-point and static defense model can no longer effectively respond to current data risks. Based on this, his team has built a governance framework covering three modules: risk identification, quantitative measurement and mitigation strategies, which can accurately extract 11 common risk-driven factors across all industries. Relying on real-time cross-border transmission data, the team focused on risk monitoring in industries such as biomedicine, and realized the scientific identification and classification of abnormal behaviors through the construction of multi-dimensional indicators. Policy simulations show that since the implementation of the data classification system, the number of daily cross-border data transmissions has decreased significantly, and the risks of data outbound have been generally reduced.
During the interactive session, teachers and students actively raised questions, and Professor Li Jianping answered them patiently. The lecture concluded in a lively interactive atmosphere. Many participating teachers and students stated that the report has both academic value and practical significance, and provides important references for the practice of financial data governance |
