​To enrich the spare-time life of faculty members and demonstrate the forging-ahead spirit of financial educators, the 2025 Faculty Fun Sports Meeting of the School of Finance kicked off warmly at the outdoor basketball court in the  Jiaqiao North Campus on December 3rd. With the theme of Displaying Talent in the Teaching Field, Adding Vitality through Sports, all faculty members worked together in unity, embraced the joy of collaboration in fun-filled competitions, and passed on the power of perseverance amid cheers and laughter.

The event featured a series of exciting and spectacular sessions, with five fun sports events taking turns to unfold. Teams showcased their strengths and competed for the upper hand with great enthusiasm. In the Dragon Boat Relay (a fun sport simulating dragon boat racing on land), participants pooled their hearts and efforts, fully demonstrating the competitive spirit of unity and cohesion. On the dart-throwing court, players focused their attention and threw darts calmly, showing their unique charm of being composed and capable. The ring-toss and bottle-cap clamping events tested the players’ hand-eye coordination, patience and meticulousness, where teachers interpreted their strength through precision and speed. In the Unyielding Forest (a team coordination game), team members moved in sync with quick responses, embodying the sportsmanship of solidarity and collaboration to the fullest.

​On the sports ground, cheers, shouts and applause echoed one after another, weaving into the most touching melody of the autumn season. Teachers strived their best, helped each other and fought side by side, demonstrating a high-spirited attitude with vigor and vitality. They fully practiced the sportsmanship of Friendship First, Competition Second, and vividly displayed the positive demeanor of financial educators from Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

This Faculty Fun Sports Meeting built an excellent platform for faculty members of the school to relax, exchange ideas and enhance friendship. It was not only a joyous feast to release vitality and enjoy sports, but also a spiritual experience to unite people’s hearts and pool collective strength. After the event, faculty members expressed that they would transform the fighting spirit, sense of collaboration and forging-ahead attitude demonstrated on the sports ground into a strong driving force in their work, and make greater contributions to the development of the university.
