To further refine the quality of project applications and precisely address key and difficult issues in the preparation of application documents, the School of Finance held the 10th Seminar on 2026 National Research Project Application on the afternoon of March 14 in the Conference Room at the East End, 2nd Floor, Yizhen Building. Professor Yu Honghai, Dean of the School of Management and Engineering at Nanjing University, was specially invited to deliver a lecture and provide targeted guidance. Many teachers, including Hu Zhijun, Yang Chao, Lai Shaojie, participated in the demonstration and discussion. The seminar was chaired by Tan Yingxian, Director of the Department of Financial Engineering.

Combined with practical research projects such as household finance and AI technological innovation, Professor Yu Honghai provided specialized guidance on project application. He put forward optimization suggestions from the perspective of expert review, and clarified the key points and polishing skills of each application procedure. He emphasized that project applications should be focused in topic selection, coherent in research perspective, and rigorous and standardized in title expression. Meanwhile, he offered professional advice on the format and layout of application documents, and sorted out the logical thinking for refining scientific issues, analyzing feasibility, and writing innovation points, pointing out a clear direction for project design and document revision.

The participating teachers expressed that the seminar had precisely solved the difficulties and confusions in the preparation of applications, enhanced the focus of topic selection and research pertinence, and further clarified the ideas for improving research design and application documents.
