On April 8, the School of Finance successfully held the thematic salon themed *Red Heritage Cultivates Spirit, Digital Wisdom Echoes New Voices* during the 16th Science and Innovation Festival. The activity aimed to build a high-quality platform for students to inherit red finance culture and engage in in-depth dialogues on cutting-edge digital intelligent finance, helping finance majors grasp new industrial development trends and improve their scientific innovation literacy and practical capabilities. Teacher Han Yao from the School of Finance was invited as the commentating guest, and students from various schools took an active part in the event.
The salon consisted of two major sessions: red heritage study and digital intelligent finance discussion. At the Red Finance Education Hall, students followed instructors to systematically learn the development history of red finance, gain in-depth knowledge of innovative practices and striving spirits in the financial sector during the revolutionary era, and deeply perceive the mission responsibility and innovative essence embodied by red finance. The immersive learning helped them foster patriotism and consolidate ideological foundation.
Centering on cutting-edge trends of the times, the thematic discussion focused on three core topics: the impact of artificial intelligence on investment strategies, changes and invariants of the financial industry amid digital intelligent transformation, and development breakthroughs for finance students in the AI era. Interactive group discussions were arranged on site. Students thought actively and spoke enthusiastically, broadening their professional horizons and reaching consensus on innovation through in-depth idea exchanges.
After the discussion, Teacher Han Yao delivered comments and summaries. Combining academic research and industrial practice, he shared frontier insights into portfolio management, behavioral finance and other fields. Through case analysis and Q&A sessions, he systematically interpreted the development logic and innovative trends of the financial industry under digital intelligence wave, offering practical guidance for students to clarify career directions and enhance scientific innovation capabilities. |
